Pam shares the warning signs that other mothers with undiagnosed type 1 diabetic children might notice.

Pam:
Some of the warning signs, like I said, excessive thirst. He was only 2 at the time so he was still in diapers, especially at night, and he was like peeing through everything at night. Nothing was containing; it seemed like everything was going straight through him. He was really tired all the time. For a 2-year-old I guess, you know, you have your afternoon naps and things like that, and even as he has gotten older you can see signs when he is having problems and stuff as far as overtired, change in mood that’s not normal. Those types of things are things that you need to just watch for and question.
