Summary
I've given people a few tips that will help them lose weight before their wedding because everyone wants to look great on their big day.
Standing in front of hundreds of guests at your wedding can be scary, but it's even scarier if you're self-conscious about the way you look. I guess that is why lots of brides and grooms want to lose a little weight before they walk down the aisle. You won't be happy if you don't get the results you want, so we're going to look at some tips that will guarantee you stand at the front of the church with a smile on your face.
Make fitness a priority
The reason why some people can't force themselves to go to the gym is because they don't feel rushed. It usually changes when you have something to look forward to. As an example, if you were going on holiday you would force yourself to train so you can look good on the beach in your bikini. Even though you now have a reason to exercise you still need to make it a priority in your life. Every time you feel tired just imagine hundreds of guests staring at you when you're walking down the aisle.
Don't eat breakfast
There seems to be a lot of confusion about what purpose breakfast serves. Some people might even decide to tell you breakfast will speed up your metabolism, but even if that is true it won't make a big difference. You're much better skipping breakfast because it will help to reduce your overall calorie consumption for the day. If you're the type of person who can't get by on coffee until lunch you should eat something that doesn't contain many calories when you wake up.
Throw in some fast days
If you throw in a couple of fast days your weight loss will come about much quicker. Instead of thinking about how much food you need to eat per day you should think of it as how much you need to eat per week. If you don't eat for one or two days you'll obviously take a big chunk out of this number. Taking a chunk out of your weekly calorie intake is the same as taking a chunk of fat out of your stomach. If you can't handle a complete fast you should at least have a few days where you eat very little.
Stop drinking alcohol
You're about to experience the biggest party of your life, so I'm sure you can go a few months without drinking alcohol. It's very easy to put on weight when you go out at night because you don't realize how many calories you're consuming when it's in liquid form. Feel free to drink at your bachelor or bachelorette party, but aside from that you should take it easy. Looking slim on your wedding day is worth much more than a few cheap nights out.
Lose your water weight
A few days before bodybuilders go on stage they'll drain the water from their body and this will make them look a lot slimmer. You might want to employ similar tactics before your wedding because it will help you lose a few extra pounds before the big day. You can start by lowering the amount of carbohydrates you eat a few weeks before your wedding. A few days before the wedding don't eat any salt, and drink lots of water which will actually help flush more of it out.
You must start now
You will eventually mess up because it happens to the best of us, so that is why it's important to start your diet right now. You will still have plenty of time to get back on track. Once the wedding is over you can get back to enjoying treats, but I think you might like your new body shape more than the taste of candy.

There is nothing unhealthy about eater fasting. As a matter of fact and science, it's the only real wat to lose weight. We don't have to eat everyday all the time. How do you think we survived when we had to hunt for our food? Our bodies are designed to store our food then burn off excess fat when our immediate resources are depleted and fat is where all our diseases are stored so the body actually has a chance to heal itself when we stop stuffing our faces. I lost over 20 pounds from a 14 day fast that I chose to do after a near death experience and I've kept the weight off and i am no longer on all the meds the doctors prescribed.

This is really unhealthy and not a way to lose weight. How to lose weight quickly? From a bride who lost 70 pounds before her wedding to all of you, follow the glycemic index-5 small meals a day. Cut out processed foods and salt. Water water water. Did I say water? I drank a gallon a day. Nutrisystem follows the glycemic index but the taste of the food? Meh. Do a 25-30 min workout every day, and you will shed weight like you wouldn't believe. This is the bad part about bloggers, there is no way to watch the stuff they post and the inaccuracies.

This is the most unscientifically based and absurd recommendations I think I've ever come across. Perhaps this article needs a different title "The most unhealthy ways to lose weight and STILL not lose weight before you wedding"

So, basically.... you suggest we do not eat a couple days of the week, skip meals when we do eat and avoid drinking water, all the while exercising as often as possible.
August 28, 2014 - 6:32amObviously this will work... its called starvation.
