This was interesting; I enjoy reading tips that are easy to implement (and, many that we are likely already doing) that are more effective.
My favorite: instead of traditional crunches, the pilates move is more effective at reaching 39% more of your abs (making a V shape with your legs and arms; bottom on the mat, then slowly lowering your legs and torso to the mat).
Great advice..thanks!

If you walk or run, engage your lower abs, tuck your pelvis, breathe from your diaphragm. Be conscious of trying to hold this posture for 20-30 minutes and you'll probably feel a bit sore. But, not only will you be in proper, straight posture during your workout, you'll be tightening those abs without doing crunches!
