Ankle Health -
Todd,
Can you ask what women can do months/years after an ankle injury to strengthen the ligaments, muscles.
Also, after how many ankle sprains is surgical intervention suggested?
Thanks!
Very cool. I hope Todd brings back terrific information!
I would like an opinion on whether taking glucosamine chondroitin long-term as a supplement for joint health has any known negative effects, particularly for a lupus patient with rheumatoid arthritis (and who is a distance runner).
Osteoporosis & Menopause
I'm in menopause and started HRT, what preventative measures do I need to take so I don't get Osteoporosis?
Thanks - Todd!
Ankle Replacement
I have a fused ankle and will need an ankle replacement someday and would like to know if there are any medical advances on ankle replacements? I know great things are happening with hip and knee replacements, it will be interesting to find out what's happening with ankles.
Here are a few more questions I have:
Who is a good candidate for ankle replacement surgery and why?
Who is not a good candidate for ankle replacement surgery and why?
Is ankle fusion or ankle replacement a better surgery and why?
Thanks!
