Do you say what you really mean? Do you try to tell it like it is? Or perhaps you believe that honesty is the best policy?
Well, according to a recent study from Queendom.com people who do not monitor what they say and do are less popular among their social group than those who do.
The study also reveals that people who do not regulate their words or actions in social situations are less sensitive to social cues, have more difficulty understanding body language, and have much more trouble controlling their anger.
You can even take Queendom's self-control and self-monitoring test to find out how well you self-monitor.
I guess honesty is not the best policy when it comes to being well-liked!
Now, will you think before you speak?

Love this!! Thanks for sharing. And they say honesty is the best policy. Ha! I do believe you always need to be honest with yourself (self monitoring) , but maybe "not so much" when it comes to others unless you're asked. And even if you are asked, watch out....Remember, the messenger and what happens to them!!!! You do need to be true to yourself first and foremost. That's what make for the inner and outer beauty of ones self and isn't that what's most important?
