In the world we live in today, a topic mostly avoided for being unpleasant and chore-related is cleaning. While the internet is full of tips and tricks on home decoration and interior design, people can't seem to find a proper way to share their thoughts about cleaning and especially, about cleaning services in general. As if we are all scared to share to the world that we do, in fact, need the use of professional cleaning services. The topic on housekeeping and cleaning with all its little dirty secrets has become a Tabu around families of all nations.
But here is the deal.
We're not super mums and there's nothing to be ashamed of if sometimes ask for help.
But why exactly do we avoid talking about it?
Truth is, we are nothing more than creatures of perfection and as such, we strive to become brilliant in every aspect of our life, including our domestic chores. And when it comes to telling the truth of how we sometimes have fast food for dinner or we prefer to entrust our home cleaning chores to a professional cleaning company, we still feel that we must lie because it is our duty to be perfect mums and housewives. And as sad as it is, this pattern seems to reply over and over again through the long years and it is just getting us nowhere.
Honesty is the driving power of success in this whole story. We should face the truth and start thinking more of what is suitable for our busy lives and what we could do to try and steal some time for ourselves and our families without diving deep into the world of housekeeping. Being the perfect housewife seems like a wonderful idea, but this stereotype should've been erased from the face of our beliefs a long time ago. After all, in dire situations, time's never enough. Just like when it comes to moving out fast and leaving the property perfectly clean for the sole reason to receive back your bond. I just prefer to call the end of lease cleaners and entrust the job to them. But, that's not what most people do.
We all want to show off our "superpowers" and prove the world that we can cope with everything.
Unfortunately, we, humans, will never stop our endless journey to perfection, but we must know how to shift our path according to the circumstances. Maybe someday, our children will laugh upon our fears and worries that we have kept in secret while trying to achieve perfection, but until then we could only try to change ourselves and ease our chores.

Hello sydneyfelard,
Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reminding us that we do not need to strive for perfection, and should feel okay about asking for help:)
