When I was 13 i found a lump in my breast. Needless to say i was terrified. When i got to the doctor they took a sonogram of the effected area and examined the picture. They took some test and later determined that it was a cyst. It turned out that i got the sist because of the large amount of caffeine in my diet. I was very lucky and very happy to know that surgery was not needed in order to clear the cyst. The doctor told me it would clear up on its own, but for that to happen i would have to give up caffeine for a while. sure enough After a few weeks of avoiding caffeine the lump slowly got smaller and was eventually completely cleared up. I'm 17 now an still to this day i have to make sure i dont drink a lot of soda and i never drink energy drinks. My advise to you all is to check yourself once a month and to watch your caffeine intake. Don't Risk your breast health with excessive caffeine intake. stay away from energy drink, stay away from the mountain due, and don't go out and eat a pound of chocolate. My name is joana and this is my gift to you.

Thanks for passing along the tip. As you mentioned, limiting caffeine and excessive fats can help women avoid fibrocystic changes in breast tissue.
