Hi, It's been almost two weeks that I've been having pain and symptoms of ovarian cyst and I realized the cyst burst in me and I'm not bleeding or anything. After awhile I started feeling a little bit better and from that point on I got a flu. I want to know is it possible to feel a cyst burst and cause a flu afterawards? Beside my stomach was feeling very warm by touch and all of a sudden I felt it go away could it mean it burst making me feel better in some way? My primary physician told me it's the flu but I noticed this after having pain and symptoms of ovarian cyst. Please let me know about this soon.
Thank You,
Melissa

Thank you for your reply. What is hemorrhage? If a cyst is ruptured but no bleeding and after a transvaginal ultrasound shows it being normal what could it mean? I have a really bad cold and I don't have much sensation in my stomach and and I'm afraid it's related to my stomach and ovaries. I'm waiting to hear from my GYN shortly and I'm hoping nothing serious goes on. What do you think of such thing? Please let me know soon.
Thank You,

Hi Melissa6666,
A ruptured ovarian cyst is not only extremely painful, but it can lead to serious medical problems. A ruptured ovarian cyst can have potentially life-threatening complications, such as hemorrhage and infection. It's important to let your doctor know if you feel any pain.
Best,
Daisy
