Let me remember I am one with God.
i love this lesson because I love reminding myself to be remember God.
All day long it’s a constant dedication TO REMEMBER the truth, and to love, give and forgive. To remember I am one with God and that I, along with you, are the light of the world.
This is why it is A Course in Miracles is called mind TRAINING. You are training your mind to think differently - to see people and situations differently - and you do that by forcing yourself to remember. All day long you will have to get back on track. All day long you will notice that you are “off the mark” and then you will remember that you are training your mind to think with God.
I read that airplanes are off course 90% of the time during the flight, but the pilot’s job is to keep getting the plane back on track … until it arrives at its destination.
My job is to keep steering this ship back on track.
I recognize that I am worrying about something … I catch myself and get back on track, remembering that I am one with God.
I catch myself planning, obsessing, having a grievance, uncertain, doubtful, scared … and then I steer the plane back on course, remembering I am the light of the world.
I start thinking in terms of limitation, no money, nothing to give … and I catch myself and I realize that I have everything to give and that I can make a difference in someone’s life.
Simply by bringing myself back to the present moment, back to truth.
That’s A Course in Miracles.
You don’t try to be perfect. You simply begin to observe the way your mind thinks, to be aware of your thoughts, and to keep getting back on track.
BECAUSE YOU WILL BE OFF COURSE 90% OF THE TIME!
Don’t be concerned about it. You can still arrive at your destination, at the appointed time, even when you are 90% off course during the flight. Don’t worry about mistakes. Just keep heading in the direction you are going - towards God - and keep making corrections every time you wander slightly (or seriously) off the path.
Gorgeous for God
Inspiring individuals to be as God created them ... perfect.
