I am 66 years old, my husband is 74 and has many serious health conditions including Parkinsons/dementia and I am finding life with him very trying. We have been married 37 years and 30 of them he has had one thing after another after another and I am sick and tired of him. I love him very much but the life we loved walking the hills and dales and caravanning have come to an end and I am sad to see it go.

Hi, Cumbrialass.
Thank you for sharing your story. You are not alone in caring for a loved one with these conditions. Many people are in the same situation. I'm sure it's very hard to face and accept these changes in your life and in your relationship. Sometimes it helps to join a support group. Your doctor or hospital might be able to provide resources for you. You can search for a group here, as well.
I wish you all the best,
