One of EmpowHer's HerWriters is sharing her story of what it was like to suddenly be diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, to face it head on, and to win the battle. I think her story should be shared with as many women as possible because it's fairly common to be faced with a serious health condition and think that all is lost. I like the spirit of this article as well and look forward to more. And you're right, sometimes when facing an illness, we tend to take on a defeatist attitude. Not the case here. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
