Anne - thank you for sharing your story!

I read your website with great interest, especially your personal list on what foods are good, not so good and bad for your condition!

I know you warned that some prescription drugs would need doctor approval but also we need to remind our readers that suggestions of taking such over-the-counter products as Phenylephrine would also need a doctor's consultation because even small doses can raise blood pressure and interfere with medications already prescribed.

Anyone (especially with medical issues) taking on a new diet, over-the-counter medications or combination of both, should first consult their physician. What works well for one, may be dangerous for another.

Thank you again for your story and welcome to Empowher!
