In 1984 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Medications didn't seem to relieve much of the pain and it continued to get worse. In 2004 my Doctor retired and I stayed with his practice with a new doctor, who advised I had been misdiagnosed. After several tests it was determined that I had Polymyalgia Rheumatica. and many changes were made to my medications. Within 2 weeks I felt better than I had for many, many years. At this time, my condition is under control with the proper medication and changes to my lifestyle. I have lost over 100 pounds in the past 3 years and feel so much better.
