share: Foods that help boost your Libido
We have all fallen into the realm of loss of libido, right? We are too tired, we have a headache, etc., but what we really want to say is that we are just not interested. I had a conversation with a co-worker about this very subject which made me interested in researching how to boost our libidos.
Womens Health Magazine recently featured a story called “Love Bites”, which you can read the full article here http://www.womenshealthmag.com/sex-and-relationships/foods-that-will-boo....
The article indicates that foods such as bananas, celery, dark chocolate, flaxseeds among other things help raise libidos in women. Did you hear that? We can eat food to lift our libido. There is only one downfall, no soda or excess sugars. No more bon bons. (sad face)
The Medical Center for Womens Sexuality also has great information on their website that you can read here http://www.centerforfemalesexuality.com/libido.htm. This website also provides more information about sexual desire after child birth and at the time of menopause.
Has anyone tried using food as a libido lifter? Are there any other strategies that you have tried that worked? Please share your story.

Thanks for this info, miscortes!
I think fruits like grapes and apples actually work and the other is lots of sleep and no interruptions from little people!
The problem with "lots of sleep" is that many of don't get it, due to work and family commitments.
One problem with a lot of women I know is that by the time work is done and the kids are in bed, it's 10pm. So go straight to bed, right? No. They need down-time - to watch a TV show they love or to read a book. I need that downtime too, the problems with us is that the time we get is from about 10pm to midnight. Should be be getting lots of sleep instead? Probably - but when your day is spent taking care of others and never, ever being alone - that hour or two is not something that's easily given up.
But we somehow make it all work - somehow!
