Please consider contacting your Senators about this!!
The Senate Finance Committee is drafting a health care reform bill that will hopefully have bipartisan support. However, Chairman Max Baucus of Montana is including a compromise in the bill to win over Republican Senators. That compromise happens to impact women's health care in that it will exclude abortion services from being covered by insurance. Apparently, women's reproductive health care isn't important enough and can be "compromised" by lawmakers just so that a bill can be passed.
Let your Senators know that health care for Americans should absolutely cover the reproductive health care that women need to have (affordable) access to. Here's a helpful link so that you can easily contact Max Baucus as well as your Senators on this crucial issue:

Thank you for sharing this! It's true that lawmakers either ignore or push down the importance of women's reproductive healthcare in favor of coverage for male issues. The battle for equality in health care is akin to the fight for women's voting rights.
Why is our country, the most powerful in the free world, so far behind our counterparts?
