Hi jawad-
Thanks for your question and welcome!
Your condition could be due to any number of things, such as a sickle cell condition, a cancer or some kind of infection. Some drugs can also cause this kind of anemia, especially anti-inflammatory drugs. You may also have had this condition at birth.
Since we have no access to your medical records, test results, and nor can we offer actual medical advice to you, your doctor is going to have to sit with you and explain to you exactly what kind of hemolytic anemia you have.
You have a right to get a full explanation from your doctor, no matter where you live. This is your body and your health and you need to know exactly what's going on inside.
Please schedule an appointment with him as soon as you can. Also, please take a look at our Hemolytic Anemia page here: http://www.empowher.com/media/reference/autoimmune-hemolytic-anemia
I'm sorry we cannot help you further, but with no knowledge of any test results, we cannot give you further explanation. Will you contact your doctor and then update us as soon as you can?
We'll be looking out for your update and let me know if our Hemolytic Anemia page is a help to you-
Susan

Hi Jawad,
We do not have overseas doctors who can treat you, I'm so sorry. What I mean by not having lab reports is that only your own personal doctors can treat you, since they have all your information/reports and are physically treating you. Our medical professionals cannot do that.
Jawad, unfortunately, healthy people can get conditions that are not hereditary or due to a known infection or disease. We may never know why...
I don't think there are any 'perfect physicians' out there! But I think you may need to see a specialist, instead of your regular doctor. Are you currently seeing an anemia specialist or are you still working with your regular doctor?
May 19, 2010 - 12:45pmMiss i understand what you mean i am taking advice frm A Hemotologist/ and Senier member of Thelesemia Society from Aga Khan University Hospitals in Karachi Pakistan.
As per his comments causes could be found at initial stage of H/A appears, before starting prednisolone therapy & transfusions since my all test HIV, ANTI DNA, ANA, RF test, Serum Heptoglobin, Urine Hemosidrnine, Hebtitus (B, C test). were taken, even CT scan after transfusions & after one month therapy of Prednisolone.
Now due to affect of medicines this disease is suppressed as per my doctor even if they conduct all tests again it is difficult to get real cuasue now his only advice is to continue medicines as long as all test becomes normals like CBC, Retic Count, Platlets & MRBC.
This physician i found after struggling of 6 months search.
So my request is can you give my any reference to other perfect Hematologist who can give me some idea or may be same advice so i can be little comfort.
I hope you can you understand the situation.
regards/Jawad
