I weigh too much to support my 5 foot frame. I need help. I gave birth to my only daughter 27 years ago and began eating more after given dinner in the hospital for 2 people. I was exercising and trying to tone up. People thought it was funny, so I hate exercising in front of people. The last time I dieted was in 1982-1983; I reduced from 170 pounds to 125 pounds then. I have exercise videos but they are just here collecting dust. I was listening to the news last night and a doctor suggested that people get some kind of exercise regimen. I used to wear a size 24, but I am climbing up to a 4X. My mother, grandmother, uncle and aunt all died of heart attacks and I am scared to death that I will die this big. I weigh 270 pounds and I already feel the effects. I get out of breath walking down the hall. I have been unemployed for the past 9 years and it is not easy. My husband wants me to lose weight, and I know, before I start anything, that I have to do it for me. Please advise.
