A friend of mine recently sent me the link to this article that links sleep deprivation to an increased risk in cancer, and I found it to be so interesting that I wanted to share it with the community here. It's amazing to me how many serious illnesses are now being linked to lack of sleep; I know I read something not too long ago that connected sleep deprivation to an increased risk of developing diabetes. What do you think about this article and the study?

Hi Michelle, I am constantly amazed by our culture's lack of 'respect' for sleep. Sleep is said to be one of the primary ways we can help heal our hearts, minds and bodies.
Another member shared a story she found about how sleep can help the heart. You can read it by visiting this link.
Can you share tips on how to get a good night sleep?
