Welcome spring! It's liver season....the liver is a beautiful organ that has the distinct job of detoxifying the body. To allow the liver to do it's job we must clean out all junk food such as mucus generating wheat, gluten and dairy products, refined sugars, fried foods, chemicals and poor quality animal fats. The liver loves good quality clean liquids like water and herbal teas, fruits and greens, greens and more greens!
The liver rules the largest organ in the body; the skin, and also the eyes. Cleansing does not necessarily mean you must be on a specific pill or shake, it might only be that you eliminate all toxic foods out of your diet and add more healthy fare. That alone can trigger the body into detox mode. As you cleanse you may notice rashes erupting, eyes twitching and emotions exploding. The emotions related to the liver are anger, frustration and old stagnant resentment. What does this mean to you? You will not only be physically cleansing toxic debris, but also emotional toxins as well. We will cleanse anything old that doesn't serve us - even some people may have to go!
The first step to cleansing is always the food, if you are not in good physical shape, have all manner of disease, or are overweight, try starting with just the food as your first line of detoxification. After that if you would like to know more about safe and effective cleansing products, like those I use, you can Google, research or ask a medical professional.
