Day 19, 41% Third Quarter Moon
Mood: Joyful – All Is Well
This morning I had my Anatomy and Physiology class. After sitting for almost three hours studying various cells of the human body, I felt a little fatigued, mentally and physically.
Then I had my Self-healing Qigong class. We practiced a set of warm-up exercises for a few minutes, followed by a deep belly breathing exercise. We simply breathed deeply into our abdomen, inhaling, filling up our belly, and exhaling, emptying it out. After only a couple of minutes, my body and mind became completely refreshed…
I feel content and happy. And everything around me looks vibrant and beautiful. Once again I’m amazed by the power of breath. Breath deeply. It’s the key to peace of mind, contentment and vital energy.
Relaxation: The deep breathing exercise brings me back to the present moment. It seems to slow things down and wash away any tension and stress I’ve accumulated in my mind and in my body.
How do you feel today? Pause for a moment, connect with your feelings, care for yourselves, and record your journey.
