Mood: Feeling Inspired!
Do you procrastinate? Put things off, again and again? You know you need to get to them – and soon. Yet you just can’t seem to find the time. Believe me, it’s not difficult to find reasons or excuses. There are plenty.
I’m not a procrastinator. Sometimes I do procrastinate, though, especially about things that I don’t enjoy doing (preparing for my tax return, for example) or goals that are too big or too challenging for me at the moment.
I don’t know about you but, for me, procrastination creates mental frog and stress. After a while, the things I put off become mental clutter, which inhibits me from thinking clearly and acting efficiently.
So today I decided to clear away some of the things I’d put off for a while. And when it was all cleared the way, I found a surge of inspiration and creativity gush forth. It was amazing!
What I discovered is this: procrastination stagnates, and inspiration moves.

I agree with you. I am not a procrastinator. Years of working as a critical care nurse taught me to take care of things in the moment and not put things off. You never would know what would happen next.
