Kristin, thank you for all of your information. As for Men with cellulite, I thought that is was just plain fat. I never see the same cottage cheese looking skin on a man's backside even if they are really huge. It just looks like smooth fat. Please send me your insights.

LOL! I just asked 5 of my male colleagues if guys ever have cellulite, and within a fraction of a half-nanosecond, they all yelled out a resounding "No!" I just have to laugh because they obviously believe they're immune.

I have seen cellulite on men -- at times when I've been at the beach. Granted, maybe not as many men as women have cellulite, and I have no idea why, but I have seen it on men -- on their backsides. Maybe it's genetic??

I go to Connie and Pam's too and it's been amazing! Who's your friend? maybe I know her. These women have been going there for 30 years. I kid you not. They look amazing and most are in their 70's. There are lots of young women coming now but when you look at the bodies of the women who've been going there forever, they have no cellulite. They have smooth skin. For me, it really helps get rid of the fat pockets and smooths out my skin. You just need to drink lots of water to flush out your system after a massage.

Oh yeah, I agree with you Princess Grace about men and cellulite. I've never seen a man with cottage cheese...just plain fat. I'd love to see someone do a study on women and cellulite. Clearly, women have cellulite issues way more then men, as you can tell by all the products and procedures that have been created and marketed to women.

Best in health,
Michelle

Michelle, I have a question about massage.... I treat myself to a massage once a month as special "me" time, and I go to a local Massage Envy near where I live. I always have gone to the same person there, and she does a "full body massage," with most of the focus on my back/shoulders, but doesn't get into the hip area at all, just up to my thighs. When you have a massage at Connie & Pam's, do they target more of your upper thigh/hip area as well to get to the areas where women typically have cellulite?

Hi Michelle,

So I gather you feel that massage is working for your cellulite. It is truly amazing that something so simple can actually work isn't it? However, you & others are lucky to live close by a center where you can have the procedure performed on you. Others may not be so lucky ~ that's where the No, Lipo Lipo technique comes to the rescue. I have been using Carole Maggio's NLL technique for a little over a month now. NOT every day and certainly not for 30+ days. I'd say I've performed her routine approx. 20 times now. Not only is my cellulite almost completely diminished, my thighs & calves are tighter, my butt is lifted, the skin on my arms (which are skinny) looks more firm and not crinkly (peri-meno), arms are more toned as if I replaced my light weights with heavier ones, and my stomach is flat. YES, I am already thin, but I haven't changed my diet, nor have I changed my exercise routine. AND I still eat my nightly desserts after 5 pm. So I'd recommend this program to anyone looking for help with cellulite, body toning and reshaping. To me, it's been a real eye-opening experience. YES, we do have control over how our bodies look, and how our faces age. Yay!

As for women having cellulite and NOT men. I've actually seen some men with cellulite. However, just not quite as pronounced. I believe the reason for this is simple ~ men have thicker skin than women. Even though a man can be overweight, his skin is thicker, thereby making the cellulite less noticeable.

All the best, Aprile
