My cellulite is disappearing!
I posted a few weeks ago about how I'm trying the "Ultimate Leg, Butt, Hip and Thigh Makeover" video exercise program that claims to get rid of cellulite, and I have to say that it's actually working. I can't believe it either, because I just figured that the combination of genetics, having had three pregnancies, and a day job of sitting at a desk all day meant that I was doomed to having cellulite on my backside. Now, after 5 weeks of faithfully doing the 1-hour exercise program three times a week, I'm actually seeing the bumpy, dimply cellulite on my butt disappear. I couldn't be more surprised!
This program was developed by Joey Atlas who is now a contributing writer on EmpowHer. His DVD set costs $29, and I believe they're well worth your money. Especially if you're already pouring money into the so-called cellulite busting creams, lotions and clothing that really don't work at all.

Kristin, Connie pays close attention to the hip, thigh and buttocks areas. She pays close attention to areas where women are most likely to have cellulite. She also focuses more on the upper back and arms. Those are two other areas where you gain weight and have bumpy skin. You know how you see that ugly fat coming over your bra in the back? She rubs me so hard, sometimes I wince in pain but it works so well. That's usually when I haven't been there for a while. It's done wonders for me and I need to start back up again. I've been so busy traveling that I haven't had time to go lately. I sure do see it and feel it in my clothes when I don't go. I have a funny story about going to Connie and Pam's. When I go, it's usually around 5:30 or 6 in the morning and I crawl out of bed and go in my nighty and robe. I know one of these days I'm going to get pulled over. That should make for a great Share on EmpowHer.

Thanks so much for sharing that info! I just had no idea that massage could have such an impact. I always thought it was more about relaxation. This is really good to know. I may have to see if I can get in to Connie & Pam's for an appt. to try it out.
I asked a medical expert last night about massage and cellulite and was told that due to the structural configuration of the skin, connective tissue, fat and muscle, that massage is actually physiologically impossible to make dimpled skin change to smooth skin. I thought this was interesting, so wanted to share this perspective. I'll see if I can look into it further. In the meantime, I'm loving the results I'm getting from the exercises I'm doing -- I could tell this morning when I put on my jeans. I truly think this is the secret to busting cellulite!
I would like to say that I've achieved fabulous results using Carole Maggio's No, Lipo Lipo routine. I had already purchased the sisal louffa mitt and strap and was feeling my thighs looked tighter and more lifted using 30 scrubs (strokes) per area. However, I decided I really wanted to tackle the cellulite and ordered her dvd and I was off to smoother thighs in 10 days! I cannot believe how awesome this program is! I have not only exfoliated, smoothed and tightened the peri-menopausal skin on my thighs and butt, but I have definitely lifted the area around my knees (you know ladies) and my butt is higher than it was before! I am totally shocked. I began the treatments and started noticing results within 4 sessions, after 10 sessions, I felt the cellulite on my thighs looked barely noticeable. I didn't have real bad cellulite, but bad enough! I am now probably 20 sessions in and I couldn't be more happy! It's real easy to do, you just need to use her e-oil (comes with the dvd) or another kind or cream or oil. It helps the knuckles to glide accross the skin better. Ladies ~ you've got to get this dvd. You won't be disappointed! I'm one satisfied Facerciser now No Lipo Lipo User!! All the best, Aprile
This is fascinating. I'm so glad I've found this site. I've always, always wanted to get rid of the cellulite on my thighs. I'm only 34 but am too embarrassed to wear shorts. My mom thinks I'm silly and that I should be proud since I've had two babies. But I'm not. I feel horrible about my legs and how bumpy and jiggly they are. I'm so glad to have found some ideas besides surgery, which I can't afford. But I'm so depressed about my legs I'd try anything. Thank you for this info.
