My favorite information to empower my clients with is the exciting, delicious, plentiful healthy alternatives that are so readily available. I love to hold their hands through what I call the “twist” from their unhealthy favorites to a new healthy alternative that will not only be healthy, but delicious too!
A perfect example is why waste our sugar intake for the day on jelly or ketchup? Cut the sugars out of as many products as you can.
Many people will not live completely void of packaged foods, so I suggest choosing these healthy alternatives! Below is a list of unhealthy products and my favorite healthy alternatives:
soy sauce - gluten free low sodium tamari
sugar - coconut syrup
dairy yogurt - coconut/almond milk yogurt
sugar free gum (filled with chemicals!) - spry gum
salt - sea salt
gluten waffles - vans wheat/gluten free fruit juice sweetened waffles
jam with sugar - bio nature organic fruit juice sweetened jelly

Thank you for sharing these alternatives. I have the WORST problem trying to avoid processed cheese. I absolutely love cheese and cannot find a reasonable alternative. Suggestions?
