I have been bipolar since I was about 16. That pretty much made my teenage years a living hell. As if being a teenager isn't hard enough. My parents tried to ignore it and were in denial. Of course that does not make it go away. So I suffered for the next 24 years looking for help. Through many bad doctors and many false diagnosis, about two years ago I found a wonderful doctor who cares and given the right medication. It is also a miracle my marriage survived, but we made it and will be married 20 years this March. I lost many relationships to to my behavior and also to the stigma attached to this disease. I will never give up. One of my main concerns right now is my relationship with my husband. It is still very hard to stop taking my moods out on him. I need so advice and suggestions on how to handle this. I know their are women going through or have been through the same thing.
