I recently read about a new treatment for UTIs and wanted to share because this is something that almost everyone experiences at some point in time.
If you are allergic to certain antibiotics or just don't respond well to them, this treatment may be a great option for you. The American Chemical Society's (ACS') award-winning Global Challenges/Chemistry Solutions described the treatment as an anti-adhesion molecule that would target bacteria and inhibit them from sticking inside the urinary bladder.
Is this a treatment option that you would look in to taking? Do you have an allergy to certain antibiotics or an antibiotic resistance built up? What have you taken to treat UTIs in the past?
