my normal period is 8 days been like that since i got it i just found out due to a csyst on my left ovary its cause heavy bleeding and such doctor put me on birth control for a while now periods are lite or dont come so maybe you should see a doctor might be imbalance infection etc hope it helped also not everyone is in 28 day cycle
