This will be short because somehow I lost my Part 2 text.
My neurosurgeon has recommended a nerve biopsy which frightens me a little. I will certainly endure this procedure and hope there will be no lasting bad effects if we can find a cause and proper treatment for my peripheral neuropathy.
What I would really like (other than a cure of course) is to hear from other women dealing with the same level of pain and stage of the disease. Other than terrific pain, I have spasms, usually in the morning from the waist down that leave me breathless. My muscles are becoming weak behind my knees and my arms. My right foot is clawing and am developing hammer toes. This disease affects every aspect of my life. I can't think of any part of my day or night that it doesn't affect.
I have diligently read all of the information related to this topic on this site, in several other sites, in many books and literature from my medical professionals.
