Ladies, mark your calendars for a really fun charity event - without the speeches and formal dinners. This relaxing and energizing evening will benefit Postpartum Progress Inc., the new non-profit entity associated with Katherine Stone's acclaimed and world wide blog Postpartum Progress.
Sassy Shop Girl Events is proud to host their latest shopping charity extravaganza, What Women Want: Girls Night Out event benefiting Postpartum Progress, Inc. The event will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 7:00 p.m at 4Sixty6 Club in West Orange, New Jersey.
Postpartum Progress, founded in 2004, provides the most comprehensive and accessible information available on perinatal mental illness for pregnant women and new mothers. Having already helped more than half a million women and health care providers, it offers help and hope from women who've been there, providing an unflinching yet hopeful look at getting through postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, postpartum OCD, postpartum psychosis, and antenatal depression and anxiety.
With over 40 vendors from the metropolitan area of New York City showcasing the best of their 2011 collections, this night out is sure to be a success for the vendors, shoppers, and Postpartum Progress, Inc.
"I have always had a passion for helping women and children," said Maria Aleman, Founder of The Sassy Shop Girl Events. "With my years of experience in the fashion industry, it just made sense to combine my two passions and create fun events that unite people for a good cause."
What Women Want is a part of a series of events that The Sassy Shop Girl Events host across the country that provide opportunities for small business owners to support and raise money for nonprofit organizations.
The over 500 expected guests will enjoy massages, beverages, and tarot card readings while shopping the latest fashion trends in fashion, jewelry, handbags, shoes, beauty and spa products.
We invite you to grab your friends and shop your heart out, all for a great cause.
Tickets are $35 and can be purchased on line. To learn more about this event and other upcoming The Sassy Shop Girl Events, click here or contact Maria Aleman (786) 366-3603 or email [email protected]
