THE RESEARCH PROCEDURE :
This isn’t a myth but reality proven by the research in this regard. A trial was conducted on 62 children who were having cavities. Three different diet plans were made and children were also divided in three groups accordingly.
1. Group 1 were assigned the standard diet along with oatmeal which is packed with phytic acid

WHAT CAUSE TOOTH TO DECAY ?
The simple definition of the said topic can be done with the great words published in the American Dental Association (ADA) research paper.
According to the paper, “[Tooth decay] occurs when foods containing carbohydrates (sugars and starches) such as milk, pop, raisins, cakes or candy are frequently left on the teeth. Bacteria that live in the mouth thrive on these foods, producing acids as a result. Over a period of time, these acids destroy tooth enamel, resulting in tooth decay.”

1. Stop eating food that contains the added sugar. Remove it from your diet.
2. Eradication of Phytic Acid is essential. It usually can be found in grains etc.
3. Drink milk and use dairy products as much you can.
4. Use the Toothpaste which has the power of minerals.
There are many other ways to naturally handle this issue. In short eat every healthy food that is essential for the health of the body except those which can cause the tooth decay. Follow the habit of brushing your teeth twice at least daily. These small practices can untimely save you from many problems.

Hello jasmine_writer,
I found the article, "How to Reverse Cavities Naturally & Heal Tooth Decay", which you referenced. It is important to note, it is stated, "In fact, according to a study published in the British Medical Journal, cavities and tooth decay could potentially be reversed with diet. "
The key word is "potentially."
This article appears on the website, Dr. Axe Food is Medicine.
Phytic acid is the principal storage form of phosphorus in many plant tissues, especially bran and seeds. It is found within the hulls of nuts, seeds, and grains. In-home food preparation techniques can break down the phytic acid in all of these foods. Simply cooking the food will reduce the phytic acid to some degree.
Brushing your teeth at least twice a day and ideally after every meal, using fluoride-containing toothpaste and flossing s or using an interdental cleaner can help prevent cavities.
