  My husband was given chemo with the understanding that it would be more successful to have chemo before removing his bladder and prostate. Now he doesn't want to go through the surgery.

  

  If bladder cancer penetrated the wall of the bladder, is there more chance of suvival if the bladder is removed?

  I have had blood in my urine for years, now more so, I have lost over 120 lbs in the last 3 years for no reason. I have pain in my lower abdoman and lower back. Run fever almost nightly.

  My dad has hormone resistant prostate cancer and also CIS cancer of the bladder. He already tried BCG last year and it didn't work. He doesn't want to try it again.

  Uro Today produced a study in which a robot was produced to conduct a cystectomy. A cystectomy is the removal of part or all of the urinary bladder.
