Written by Aimee Boyle on November 3, 2009 - 6:24pm

We've watched 'What Not To Wear' and have slowly begun collectively tossing our overalls forever and never, ever buying plastic belts, no matter how neon, gold or skinny-jean oriented they may be.

Ashley Madison: The Cheating Files

Written by Shaina Gaul on October 8, 2009 - 1:19pm

A relatively new rabble-rouser has come to town, and it goes by the name Ashley Madison. For those of you who haven’t already heard of this website on Dr. Phil, The View, Good Morning America, Larry King, Ellen, etc., Ashley Madison is a dating site for married people who are looking to have a sexual affair. Because the database includes over 4.5 million members, it’s obviously brought to light many questions that people have about the reality of fidelity in American relationships.

Written by Shaina Gaul on October 8, 2009 - 12:53pm

There’s another huge reason why many women experience a decrease in libido: excessive cleaning. According to LiveScience, “having a husband creates an extra seven hours of housework each week for women, according to a new study. For men, tying the knot saves an hour of weekly chores.”

Although this study only applies to married couples, one can only speculate on the results of a similar study done on those who co-habitate.

Do You Like it Rough?

Written by Shaina Gaul on September 25, 2009 - 3:27pm

The fact that most of you will know what I’m talking about from the title of this article goes to show that the concept of “rough sex” isn’t confined to just the bondage and S&M subset. The phrase most often describes the act of a male thrusting his penis forcefully during intercourse, but can also refer to an action by either partner involving pain or discomfort (pulling hair, grabbing body parts, slapping, etc.).

Recovering From Your Laparoscopy

Written by Shaina Gaul on September 25, 2009 - 2:54pm

When approaching any type of surgery, you usually gloss over the details of recovery – I know I did. It’s kind of like the list of side effects on pharmacy inserts; we don’t think about them until they actually happen to us. But after I underwent my first laparoscopy, I was surprised by my recovery period and what all it entailed. I therefore want to share my story with others, so that they won’t be shocked like I was.

The Vascular System and Sexual Function

Written by Shaina Gaul on September 10, 2009 - 9:35am

I’s an old joke: an elderly man sitting on a park bench becomes aroused by the sight of a beautiful young woman walking by. He faints, clutching his hand to his heart, because the woman is simply too stimulating!
