  20 yrs ago i developed graves disease, and had my thyroid removed with radiation, i have the missing eyebrows and bug eyes and recently in the last 2 yrs, i now have low thyroid, and am having hair loss on my scalp my question is, will this grow back? is

  I had my thryoid removed in May(12 years after they removed one side). I am on .125 levythryocine and am slighlty hyperthyroid by the blood test which the doc prefers.

  First doctor just said we are going to watch it, then later put in Methimazole 5MG once a day, at first makes me feel better then later feel like having out of body experience.

  I was diagnosed with Graves disease in Dec. 2009. I am allergic to PTU and tapazole. My doc is not recommending RAI.

  

  Is there ever a time when a surgeon does a partial thyroid removal with someone that has Graves Disease? My surgeon is insisting on a total removal but I am reading some info. that is pushing me to have a partial. Any information would be most helpful.
