Women are two to three times more likely to suffer from intestinal problems like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), celiac disease, diverticulitis and constipation than men. However, men and women share an equal risk for developing Crohn's disease, lactose intolerance or ulcers. These intestinal conditions and others are described in this section.
