  I was put on a 5 day course of steroids and would rate the next 7 days on a scale of 1-10 at a 10 being one of my worst days.

  

  Originally dx w/ fibromyalgia. My Dr now thinks I may have Polymyalgia rheumatica.

  Symptoms are decreased vision, jaw pain, scalp tenderness, headache, andmuscle pain in neck, shoulders, arms, and hips.

  

  My sympyoms of polymyalgia and GCA have returned after reducing prednisone to 10 mg. when some symtoms re-occurred in a week, I went back to 15, but now symptoms are back again. What next?

  Currently she is on steriods and only taking 4mg at the moment. Started with 20mg but has been reduced to 4mg due to bad side affects.

  

  My mum was diagnosed with pmr .
