Pretty simple. I'll read a book and forget what I read immediately. I can watch a movie over and over again and it's like watching it for the first time. Anyone ever experience this? Anyone have any ideas to improve the situation? SB

I was taking pempro, it quite helping me. The doctors here took me off and put me on an estrogen cream that does not good. I have been taking tylenol PM for five years and it does not always work. I would rather have a natural solution to my problems, but I cannot find any medical person that can help me. Anyone out there that can direct me to the correct person, it would be greatly appreciated. As you can see it is 12:29 am and I am awake . . . HELP!

An article in Newsweek today says scientists and doctors may be able to more closely pin down the date of menopause. My question is would you want to know? If so, why? If not, why not?

A radio spot this morning was about hormone allergies and how they cause weight gain, among other issues. I've not heard of this before. Is this real? What is a "hormone allergy?"

My friend Debbie, emailed me today and asked the above question. Has anyone heard about this alternative treatment? If so, does it work?
I'll do my own research and let everyone know what I find out.

Be well,

Michelle

There is multible issues with my case including hormonal imbalance since early 20's, Family with history of Alcoholism, weight gain in the mid section, Mood swings daily and weekly... abuse in early and mid childhood. In my opinion with that as a back ground my Doctor should have been more detailed into my specific case.. not just blanket me with Progesterone cream or a Anti Depression Medication.. Please advise..

It's one of the most controversial topics in medicine today, -- whether to use Hormone Replacement Therapy. About five years ago, the decision was apparently an easy one, but with studies revealing all of the possible risk factors, more women are deciding against. Are you using HRT? What influenced your decision?
