Yes, it’s very common for abdominoplasties, or tummy tucks, to be performed after pregnancy. It’s really the only procedure that can correct the diastasis, or separation of the rectus muscles, and to tighten the skin. Oftentimes I see liposuction performed incorrectly in these cases and it really doesn’t change and improve the problem.
