Dr. Hilkovitz explains why diabetics may have a higher cancer risk than others.

Dr. Hilkovitz:
It's higher than normal because during the prediabetic phase, diabetics have hyper-insulinism, too much insulin, and insulin is a growth factor, and they feel that under the influence of insulin, certain cells take off and grow abnormally, and this is one of the bases for cancer formation, but I am sure there are other factors as well.
