Dr. Ring shares some basic guidelines for healthy detoxification.
Dr. Ring:
Basic guidelines for healthy detoxification include avoiding pesticides, trying to eat organic as much as possible, doing things like not cooking in plastic, not using cleaning chemicals and other sorts of substances, not smoking, avoiding alcohol – all of those are important.
In terms of the food and what you take in, most detoxification diets will advocate or will recommend not having wheat, not having dairy, avoiding meat, eating a lot of healthy spices and drinking a lot of fluids and fruits and vegetables. Those are some of the basic core recommendations that we’ll see in an appropriate detoxification diet.
