Vision: What Problem Did Your Son Experience?

I don’t remember the exact timeline, but I knew he was struggling in school and through a friend of mine who had met someone who knew about something known as scotopic syndrome, I believe that’s what it was called, we went to see her.
She is a practitioner there, at least at the time I was here in Phoenix, and did some testing and said he would benefit from something known as Irlen lenses, which are colored lenses and so we went ahead and did that and we did see a little bit of improvement with some things like with his gross motor skills, but things, fine motor skills and reading and writing were still not improving and I knew just from being his mom that there was something else going on and that’s when I continued to dig deeper.
