Phoenix Mercury center-forward Kara Braxton shares if raising a child while playing professional basketball is a challenge.

Kara Braxton:
Raising kids while you’re working is challenging but I have a great supporting cast with me. My mom helps me out tremendously. It’s hard with me because his father, my boyfriend, he plays football so we are constantly on the move or whatnot.

So he really understands the concept that that’s our job and that’s what we have to do, but when we are working he is always with us. If he can come to a game you will probably always see him on the court with me running up after games. So he know how important work is and how important the sports is and that our sport is a job even though it sounds fun and it looks fun out here, that is our job.
