Gastroparesis Symptoms: What Advice Can You Share?

Rate This

Allie provides advice for women who are experiencing gastroparesis symptoms and are afraid to seek medical attention.

Allie:
If I was talking to a woman that was struggling with the same symptoms that I am I would tell them it’s incredibly important to go and get medical care, especially because if this isn’t treated and you are in a constant state of being sick it can be incredibly depressing.

A lot of girls with this disease, and it is mostly women, end up in a severe state of depression because you can’t live a normal life and doctors can help. There are medications that are able to help. There aren’t enough, but there are ways that a doctor can be of assistance and the doctors will work with you. If you aren’t someone who wants to take an actual medication they can help on more of a homeopathic route or just changing diet, exercise, there are ways to help anyone out there and whatever their needs are as far as how much medical treatment they want to receive.
