Hi carame11

Thanks for your post.

Many people DO get very anxious when something new comes along. Recently, two people I know retired, rather than adjust to a new way of working, with new co-workers and a different system - even though they both loved their jobs. The change was too much for them to contemplate even though had they given the new system a chance, they would have loved their new way of working within weeks.

I also think this issue worsens for people as they older.

Carame11, you mentioned you didn't have this when you were "younger". How old are you now and how is it affecting your job/life/relationships?

My anxiety exist when I try something new. This wasn't a problem when I was younger, and when things are going on in my life I cannot control. I know when this happens, I need to rest, relax and listen to my gospel music. I like to be alone, so this works for me.

It is interesting, when people see you acting different, they assume it is mental illness, but in reality, it is just too much to handle at times.
