Spring and Body/mind/spirit
After a surprising burst of snow on the weekend (here in Cordes Lakes, AZ it was a bit startling!) the sun is back and definitely the feel of warmth is in the air. I find that I am out in the garden, the sun on my legs and shoulders. I also seem to be eating better, (love those salads) more aware of what goes into my body as its physical appearance is now not swathed in sweaters and jeans!
I also notice that I feel more hopeful, new ideas are germinating in a concrete form, the challenges are less heavy. The financial piece seeming to be solvable after all.
Like bears and some plants we need the time of hibernation and inner time before we burst forth into the spring. Active, engaged in the world, a time to do and to produce.
Warning to self- remember the value of the quiet times: at the fireplace staring into the flames, the hands in thick gloves, and cut of the icy wind on my face...
So I am glad that I have writing and art, glad that I ride my horse over the land traveling slowly because of the rocks and ravines. Those slower more internal activities will balance the outward expenditure of energy and connection with new work in theatre, the impending wedding, the family coming etc.
Balance the Trio - nurture the inner and bring forth to the outer. Welcome to Spring!
well thank you - and yes, the sun will arrive even in the 5mth winter places! Hang in there!
