Air travel for cancer survivors - some things are now better

Hi everyone - You may have seen recent news stories about the indignities that air passengers have been experiencing due to more aggressive screening procedures being used in U.S. airports. Two of the most visible stories about passengers who felt humiliated by their screenings involved a breast cancer survivor and a bladder cancer survivor. The situation is improving a bit now - and you can get a medical identification card to let a screener know if you have a medical condition that needs to be taken into consideration. The cards won't eliminate the screening, but they should make it go more smoothly.
