What do you think of the study that found a possible cause of celiac disease?
A new study, reported on in late July, indicates scientests may have discovered the molecular cause of celiac disease, and that this discovery could lead to drugs that could help manage the condition. If you haven't heard about this, you can read about it here: http://health.usnews.com/health-news/diet-fitness/digestive-disorders/articles/2010/07/21/study-points-to-molecular-origins-of-celiac-disease.html
What are your thoughts about this?
I think it would be great if they could actually isolate what causes the problem and then possibly find something to help with it. The only thing is is, if it is an allergic reaction, I'm not sure if they will really ever be able to make something that will keep us from not experiencing the reaction, but I'm sure they can help with the after affects of it. Cool article though!!

I believe the problem is in our food supply. The type of wheat available today is not what people ate even two generations ago. Wheat Belly by William Davis is a good read.
