Anyone trying the Paleo Approach?
I have several clients who follow the Paleo eating plan. Others detest it and find success with other plans. Is anyone here doing Paleo and how do you feel about it?
My husband and I have been long time followers of the paleo style diet. We tend to stick more Primal which has a little more lenient rules as far as dairy and beans are concerned. Mostly we have been on again off again but have faithfully stuck with it for the last month and a half. Personally I function better as a whole if I am grain free and gluten free if I do indulge. I find that it is the only way I can lose weight, even when exercising regularly, have more energy, need less sleep, less cravings for sweets and am just generally in a better mood:)

Cool. If you're gonna have grains Quinoa, Bulgar, Couscous are great options. Have you successful lost weight or improved your energy levels using the Paleo approach?

I love Paleo...although I am not 100% hardcore..because I do eat grains like Quinoa, Bulgar, Couscous....my dairy is my Greek Yogurt...but other than that right on track...it is amazing how much energy we have eating like this and how healthy and fit are able to be..

The Paleo Diet is an eating pattern that advocates eating like our ancestors did before the Agricultural Revolution (about 500 generations ago). Those who follow the Paleo diet lifestyle eat only fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and seafood. No dairy or grains are allowed. This approach is based on the premise that in the hunter-gatherer era humans did not eat grains because it was not necessary, expedient, or beneficial for their lifestyle. That’s the big picture.

Going to give it a whirl.
Looking to fight arthritis as well.
Love my lentils however, so I guess they must go.
Sounds like even a modified diet along these lines is a great way to eat.
Thanks!
