Family and Friend Troubles Join this Group

child's father left..

okay so my child's father left when I was pregnant and we have been talking on and off for the past three years and he has not met his child yet and our son is almost 2. My sons father lives in another state and has severe health issues and i really want my son to meet his father just in case he passes away but what if your family don't want you to go to another state for them to meet but that's the only way for them to meet do you just do what you think is right and fallow your heart? Or do you regret them never meeting each other?

Me and my sons father had a bad start and my family really don't like him and that got in the way of our relationship. It has been 3 years since I have seen him and we have both grown up a lot and we have agreed to gives things a try one more time even though I am getting called names by my family and there not supportive at all. I believe in my heart that I am doing what is right for my son and for myself.
