hidradenitis/hair removal

I have hidradenitis in my groin area. Has anyone tried waxing? Does it make it worse?

Hi minid

Thanks for your question.

This kind of hair removal should be checked with your doctor but waxing is temporary and isn't harmful, as long as you're not allergic to wax (that can cause bumps and/or rash).

You might fare better with laser hair removal - look into it. It's permanent, waxing only lasts a few weeks.
