I met my husband when I was 35 and he was 20 going on 21. I had been married since age 17 and had been separated from my first husband for about 6 years. As a single mom of 6,yes 6 children ,I had little time for romance or anything else. To be truthful I thought it would be a one-night stand. Afterward I told him that he could contact me when he was of legal age(21) .That was on February 11,2002. I left thinking that this was the end of it. To my surprise he showed up at my door 2 months and 4 days later(April 14) on his birthday. I felt uncomfortable about the whole thing being that my oldest was a mere 3 years younger than he was. Well it's been almost ten years and we've been married for 5. I put him off for 4 and a half years. Turns out the only one with a problem with the age difference was me. He's absolutely wonderful. He never forget our anniversary or special occasions . He even remember what I was wearing when we met. I'm glad he found me worth the wait. I've truly been blessed.
